With 14 throws you can find the breaking point.

Start by throwing an egg off of the 14th floor. If it breaks, you know the breaking point must be below the 14 floor so go back to floor 1 and throw the other egg. If it doesn't break, go up to floor 2, then 3 and so on. This way you will cover all the floors from 1-14 in 14 throws.

If it doesn't break on the 14th floor, skip the next 13 and throw the egg off of floor 27. If it breaks, go back to 15, then 16 and so on.

If it doesn't break on 27, continue by skipping 12, then 11 then 10 etc. until you break the first egg. Once the first egg breaks, go back to just above the highest known non-breaking floor and go up one at a time.

By using this method, you can always find the breaking point in 14 or less throws.
